Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Adsyte (the "Service"), operated at adsyte.org. By creating an account, publishing a site, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. What Adsyte is

Adsyte is a directory where people can publish links to their own independent sites, apps, or tools ("Listings") for others to discover, and where visitors can browse, upvote, and visit those Listings. Adsyte does not host, build, or vouch for the content behind any Listing's URL. We link to it, we don't control it.

2. Accounts

• You need an account (via Google, GitHub, or Discord sign-in) to publish a Listing, upvote, or bid.
• You're responsible for what happens under your account. Don't share access to it.
• You must be old enough, under the laws of your country, to enter into this agreement.

3. Publishing a Listing

• You may only submit sites you own, operate, or are authorized to promote.
• Listings must be accurate: the name, description, categories, and banner image must reasonably represent the destination.
• The free plan includes 1 Listing; paid plans raise that limit as described on the pricing page. Prices and limits may change with notice.
• We may remove a Listing, or the account behind it, at our discretion, including for the reasons in Section 4.

4. Prohibited use

You agree not to use Adsyte to:

• Submit or link to illegal content, malware, phishing pages, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
• Submit or link to sexually explicit, pornographic, or other NSFW content, in the Listing itself or on the destination page.
• Manipulate rankings, votes, visit counts, or bids through automation, fake accounts, vote farms, or any other artificial means.
• Scrape, spam, abuse rate limits, or attempt to bypass security or anti-bot measures.
• Impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a site you list.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, including through content on a Listing's destination page.

Violating this section may result in a warning, a ban, or removal of your Listings, without refund of any paid plan.

5. Paid plans and billing

• Pro and Business plans are subscriptions billed monthly, quarterly, or annually through Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel any time; you'll keep plan benefits until the end of the current billing period.
• Bid tokens granted with a subscription are tied to your account, have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are forfeited if your account is banned for violating these Terms.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Content and intellectual property

You keep ownership of everything you submit (names, descriptions, images). By submitting it, you grant Adsyte a non-exclusive license to display it on the Service for as long as your Listing is live. You confirm you have the rights to submit anything you upload, including banner images.

7. Moderation

We use automated checks and manual review to keep the Service usable and legal. We may warn, ban, or restrict an account, or remove a Listing, at our discretion, with or without notice, particularly in response to violations of Section 4.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." We don't guarantee uptime, that Listings are accurate or safe, or that any particular ranking, visit count, or outcome will result from using Adsyte. Visiting a Listing's destination is at your own risk, we are not responsible for third-party sites linked from Adsyte.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Adsyte and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your Listings at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. Sections 6, 8, 9) will survive.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use Adsyte after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
